Michal Kaminski, the leader of the European Conservative and Reformists (ECR) group, told The Daily Telegraph that an extremist takeover had forced him to leave Poland's Law and Justice party, which despite the split remains Mr Cameron's key Polish political ally.More trouble looming Tuesday in Europe for Cameron.
"Radicals are taking over the party," he said. "I cannot accept that my party is being taken over by the far-Right, and being dominated by the far-Right. I don't like the direction Law and Justice is going so I'm going my own way now."
