Carmarthen west and Pembrokeshire south's Conservative MP Simon Hart said he voted for the proposal (to increase university tuition fees)

He said "Bearing in mind it's not going to affect Welsh students, I think this is going to be a better deal than the current one."

I can't believe the representative of what is allegedly a Unionist party would have said something so parochial.
And he's wrong of course- it does and will affect Wales. Idiot.
