The Northern Irish MPs make for pretty standard reading, everything questionable paid off without a murmer...indeed the public-spirited Rev Willie McCrea has even gone one step further and repaid more than requested to do so.
From the Report:
Dr McCrea was overpaid by a total of £661.21 for mortgage interest in 2008-09.He certainly got his sums wrong on that bedroom furniture but anyway, he was requested to pay back: £4,450.95
He was also paid £139.50 twice for a TV licence in 2008-09.
He was also paid £4,694.12 for bedroom furniture in 2006, exceeding the guideline price of £1,540 by £3,154.12.
He was further overpaid a total of £496.12 for service charges in 2008-09.
Total repayment recommended: £4,450.95
Which if your calculator’s working better than the Rev’s was in IKEA is the exact total of the figures detailed above.
Instead Dr Willie paid back: £5,329.74 which is difference of £878-79.
Anyone got any ideas why?

Quite a few have paid back extra.
Anyhow just heard that 3 labour and one tory are going to be prosecuted. Pardon my surprise that no triple/double jobbing unionist MP's name was on it. I thought the loyalty to the half crown reigned supreme.

It's not Willie's style.

If you're that busy collecting the expenses on the double/triple jobs you don't have the time/need to concoct an illegal claim.
Re the Unionist bit, check out McGrady's original claims.
It's an irishman's duty to rip off the British Crown ;¬)
don't we have a Devine ourselfs of the Glasgow Irish doing the same
