After a couple of Buckfasts anything seems possible.

From this morning's Scotsman:
A TORY victory over the SNP at this year's general election is "within our grasp", the former leader of the party in Scotland will declare this week.

Setting out an ambitious target, David McLetchie claims his party – currently with just one seat – could cause a remarkable upset by getting more seats than the Nationalists, who have seven MPs at present
Directly across online is an article on a proposal to ban Buckfast...not a coincidence, I think.

That man was actually leading a political party in Scotland at one time.
No wonder Salmond has it so easy what with the Grey man, bella and toffy Tavish. The fact that the Scotsman reported this man's utter nonsense in such a way as to suggest credence says it all about the meedja in Scotland.

For the sake of Scotland we need an effective integrity led opposition to the SNP. I honestly cannot see from where it is going to come though. Even less chance of a fair meedja I suppose.

Ideas on the back of a stamp.........anyone?

Conservative Home reported the chances of the Conservatives and Unionists getting 10 seats in NI a couple of weeks back so itás not just msm or Scottish Conservatives losing the grip. You could argue also that the Scotsman didnt do the Cons any favours by reporting this nonsense.
