With their hegemony at an end for Labour to survive it must decide whether it is a Welsh progressive party or a Unionist party.
Is this a developing Plaid Cymru narrative, nicked from Winnie Ewing, with the implication being that you can either be Welsh or Unionist?
Update
Unfortunately for Mr Edwards it looks like there will be an influx of non-Welsh, non-progressives representing Wales after the next election.

And what a bore that will be...come on O'Neill how is "non-Welsh", "non-progressive" good for anyone?
"Non-Welsh" in what regard? Afaik the vast majority of Conservatives in Wales were also born there.
That was your quote sorry.
