And it's an au revoir from him...

We're off again on our travels, this time to Marseille and a bit of the muddy part of Provence. And again, it's a work/study/play combination- the Better Half will be doing the working and studying, I'll stick with the playing. Blogging will be sporadic to non-existance for the next week; I'll be too excited what with travelling on the TGV and seeing again that big yellow ball in the sky.

Thanks all, it was a great week!

We really enjoyed Marseille, a relaxed and very tolerant city (or at least so it seemed to us after a week of interviews and casual conversations). Rural Provence is certainly beautiful, but a bit too quiet and well...nice for Urban Rats like ourselves;)

Enjoyed the novelty of a nationwide strike on Thursday, although in typical contrary fashion, most of Marseilles continued as normal (which is only ever in 2nd gear anyway!!).

What else? Warm (20 ish) weather, great food, seen 2 decent matches, marseille v Ajax and nantes. Disadvantages, dear beer and too many beautiful women;)
