It's that hard to spend EU money?

Has that original mere 40 alomst doubled to 77 million pounds in the space of a month?

THE Assembly Government still expects to return an unspent £77m to the European Commission, despite being given an extra six months to use the money.

Last night former Welsh Liberal Democrat leader Mike German said he was “very disappointed” that money from the Objective One economic aid programme was being sent back to the EC.

Well done the Welsh Assembly.
