The problem in Wales is people are overtaxed, over-burdened, there are too many quangos, and we need people to feel they are in control of their own destiny.
Right, first piece, fine... but this "control of their own destiny", sounds great, but it means what exactly??
If you ask people in North Wales does the Welsh Assembly give you that sense then they don’t think it does.
Again, fine as far as it goes...but a little bit of statistical proof wouldn't go amiss here.
That why devolution needs to go beyond the Welsh Assembly.
To where exactly?
Search me, hopefully Dave knows.

Counties? Subunits?
Might solve the West Lothian question to some extent too...
Localism as suggested in The Plan would be nice, especially if it also meant the scrapping of the devolved legislatures.
However I can't see that happening.
