Ulster Snub for for Commonwealth Day?

Commonwealth Day:

is the annual celebration of the Commonwealth of Nations held on the second Monday in March, and marked by a multi-faith service in Westminster Abbey, normally attended by Queen Elizabeth II, Head of the Commonwealth, with the Commonwealth Secretary-General and Commonwealth High Commissioners in London. The Queen delivers an address to the Commonwealth, broadcast throughout the world.

This year it will be celebrated at not only Westminster, but also by both the Scottish and Welsh devolved administrations.

There’s nothing similar planned for Northern Ireland, or, at least, there’s nothing advertised on the Stormont site. Why not?

Hi,
I teach in Beijing and think you'd get a great kick out of my classroom. In one corner of my room I've the Union flag surrounded by the flags of the home nations. You won't see it here as my site only deals with ensigns (although the Ulster flag is kind of an ensign as it's the UDA version) but please have a look at http://tinyurl.com/2mw2xd
