Is Baldrick working for the Scottish Unionists?

SUPPORT for Scottish independence has risen to 40 per cent, according to the findings of a new poll

A worrying figure, but one which is out of synch with those delivered by other polls over the last 6 months:
The figure listed is the percentage favouring Scottish independence:

25 Mar (Populus/Times)-27%
17 Apr (Populus/Times) –15%
30 Apr (Populus/Times) –21%
1 May (Scottish Election Study) –22%
19 Aug (YouGov/Sunday Times) – 23%
31 Oct (Scottish Social Attitudes) – 23%

In the meantime, the Scottish Unionist parties having set up both a “pro-union” pact and a "constitutional commission" aim to fight Scottish independence by asking Westminster for more independence.
Scotland could be given greater tax and spending powers in an attempt to thwart demands for a vote on independence

Yet another cunning plan from the Unionists, the SNP will be most disturbed at the thought of greater tax and spending powers for Scotland.
