"Scotland's only small to those who think small. It's time to think big."
So stormed Alex Salmond last year when asked his opinion on the "Scotland the best small country in the world" slogan which greeted tourists at the country's airports.
A *modern* *vibrant* *successful* new message was demanded by the SNP, one which would help to give people "a taste of the very best of Scotland".
And that new slogan?
"Welcome to Scotland."
Cool.
