The Scottish MSAs also are not backward in coming forward when it comes to claiming expenses for "serving" the public.
There is however a revolutionary and imaginitive suggestion to cut costs made by Robin Harper(expenses claimed:£1,970).
The Green MSP for the Lothians, said:
"I do try to set a good example. I take the bus and walk."
What a good idea, why not simply just pay the equivalent of the bus/train fare for any journeys "serving the public" our representatives have to make?
If they still decide to take the old Beamer down to the office, then that's their lookout, we shouldn't be compensating them for further polluting the atmosphere anyway.
