The Scottish National Party's minority administration has removed the Royal Coat of Arms from government offices and renamed the Scottish Executive as the Scottish "Government".
Couple of points here, Salmond and his band of Jacobite reprobates do not "govern" or "rule" Scotland, they are, as already mentioned, a minority adminstration "voted in" by under one third of the population.
Secondly, Scotland remains a part of the United Kingdom until its citizens decide otherwise in a legally constituted referendum; furthermore the SNP, along with the MSPs of other parties have sworn the following oath:
I do swear that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, Her Heirs and Successors, according to Law. So help me God
The removal of the sovereign and lawful authorities symbols mentioned at the beginning of the post are therefore an unlawful act coinstitutionally...more than that, they fall under the legal definition of treason:
In law, treason is the crime of disloyalty to one's nation.
However, the biggest concern for the Scottish "unionist" parties appears to be the cost of the whole branding exercise. Pathetic.
