EU Constitution Referendum Rally

I'm an unashamed Europhile and firm believer of the theoretical concept of the European Union as an economic entity promoting freer and cheaper trade...I'm just not sure about the political direction many of the Brussels elite seem to be intent on dragging it and us.

But I'm a democrat and I believe that the voters of not just the United Kingdom, but the Europe as a whole should be given the opportunity to be both better informed about and ultimately vote on the new EU Constitution.

That being the case, I'm happy to reproduce this e-mail which I've just received from Dr Andrew Cadman:

Dear Bloggers,

As political bloggers who are likely to be sympathetic to the cause, we are contacting you to announce details of the forthcoming Pro Referendum Rally campaign on the EU Constitution. This umbrella campaign, headed by Dr. Bob Spink MP, is designed as a series of Œrolling thunder¹ events, starting with a rally in Parliament Square on October 27th, with scope for regional eventsup and down the country. The events in Parliament Square will start with the
symbolic casting of ballots outside Parliament, and then move to a speaking event inside the Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre. Top-flight speakers fromthe world of politics, media and other walks of national life have been invited.
