Another Price-less Whinge

Wales "better off with England"
Huh?
Which diabolical unionist said that then?

None other than our old friend, Adam Price, Plaid Cymru’s Spokesman on Nonsense.

UK GOVERNMENT figures prove that Wales would be better off financially if it were treated as a region of England, a Plaid Cymru MP has claimed

So, for the benefit of his constituents, he should be forgetting all this independence foolishness and pushing for Wales to become an English region.

Whatever, even on the stats he’s giving, via Public Expenditure Statistical Analysis, Wales is receiving breathtaking 0.46 % less per capita than the North-East of England (8139 GBP in Wales compared to 8177 GBP in the North-East).

As Adam admits:

"Overall we are on about the same level in terms of social need"*

...and overall you’re getting about the same level of support from central government,so, what on earth is your problem?

*Footnote:
Actually, having had a quick glimpse through several recent surveys (here, here and here), I'd say on most indicators of poverty the North-east is probably struggling more than Wales.
