Dr Who?...Simply The Best?

Hahahahahahahahhaha!

MPs and peers have voted Northern Ireland's First Minister Ian Paisley opposition parliamentarian of the year.

Mr Paisley said he felt it was recognition for a "job well done".

Hahahahahahahahahaha!

From Hansard, here's the number of votes that Dr Paisley has attended during the present parliamentary session.

Just to reiterate, he's been in parliament an underwhelming 29.9% of the days it's being sitting.
Dr Paisley is 627th out of 646 MPs in terms of actual attendances at Westminster last year.

His record was even worse in previous years:

7 Jun 2001 11 Apr 2005: he attended 276 votes out of 1246, 22.2%
1 May 1997 14 May 2001: 130 votes out of 1273, 10.2%

A "Job well done"?
