"The Handweaver and The Factory Maid" just the ticket for a sleepy Saturday

I enjoyed the first Imagined Village offering (here, here, here and here), the second not nearly as much.

This is the only song worth sharing, "The Handweaver and The Factory Maid".

It is a traditional Scottish tune dealing with the difficult transition in working life and society generally that the Industrial Revolution caused. If it were legal, I’d say light yourself a spliff and let the ethereal vibes waft over you... but since it isn’t, then a small glass of Bush will probably do as a reasonable substitute;)
