The leader of the Conservatives said that the UK government's main priority was to reduce the deficit, and stressed that Wales must play its part in doing this.
The Plaid Cymru AM Helen Mary Jones agreed that Wales should play its part in cutting the deficit but said that they should not be expected to pay more than their share
Genuine follow-up question: has anyone from either the Scottish adminstration or the N.Ireland Executive publicly admitted that their part of the UK also "should play their part in cutting the deficit"?

Eh? This has been Plaid's position from the begining of the crisis.
That Wales "should" play its part, that Wales has an obligation to play its part?
That's not quite the same as saying "We know there'll be cuts forced on us but Wales should not be overly penalised by the English Tories"
