A blast to reality

First the "blast":
First Minister Alex Salmond will hit out at the UK`s first ever live TV leaders` debate just before it takes place.

The Nationalists will use a party election broadcast to criticise the televised clashes, which will feature Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Nick Clegg.

Mr Salmond has repeatedly hit out at the broadcasters` failure to include his party in the debates.
So, in the end, no legal attempt to block the debate, why?

All along this seemed the more sensible approach; rather a boycott than attempted censorship:
ALEX Salmond has claimed there is little point in Scots watching tomorrow's historic TV debate between the three main UK party leaders, saying much of the event will be a "meaningless" exchange on English-only issues.
It makes sense because afterwards he can point to the (presumably) low audience figures as a victory.

Got to be money. The establishment lawyers would string out their losing case, in the meantime the injunction would make the SNP look bad. I have had six begging letters from the SNP in the past 2 months alone.

Curiously enough, none of them from the UUP for a while, wonder why?!

More seriously, that's not good news for the SNP on the run into the election. The good news is they have lost, I'd say, nothing whatsoever at not being represented last night.
