Open Unionism (re-)explodes into action

It's been a little bit quiet for a while, but three pieces have now gone up in close succession:

St Etienne on why Unionism shouldn't get too hung-up on First Minister McGuinness;
BobsBalls on Ruane's risk-free (from SF's pov that is - middle-class non-Catholic children are her main target in this case) attack on the preparatories;
Andrew Charles on the Paisley legacy.

Regarding Big Ian retiring (finally), it's been curious the relative lack of press coverage. I'm not alone, I'm sure, in saying that it's his presence and antics on the Northern Ireland scene which have over the years helped to shape my own political beliefs (although not in a way he'd approve of!).
