I have a prior appointment with my Head and Shoulders...

To lighten the mood a bit:
"The SNP’s support for the Queen as head of state of an independent Scotland is strong and well understood"
Except by Republican Rosie, the Scottish Environment Minister, who replied when asked about attending a garden party with the Queen:
"I’m washing my hair that day. So sorry!"
and I don't think, Rob Gibson, a Highlands MSP was being entirely honest here:
"I think that’s a great idea,"

"Think of all the new hats that could be bought to help the economic recovery."
Poor Salmond, who "has worked hard to court the Royal Family and voters sceptical at his party’s republican roots, even promising an independent Scotland would retain the Queen as head of state".

The question really though is who is closer to the views of the SNP grassroots and voters on this one: Ms Cunningham, Mr Gibson and (where is she?) the bould Christine Grahame or the Balmoral season-ticket holder, Alex?
