The programme of events organised by Carmarthenshire County Council to celebrate the re-opening of Carmarthen’s Lyric Theatre is more suited to Essex than to Carmarthen, according to Plaid’s leader on the council, Cllr Peter Hughes GriffithsThe offending events?
"A screening of Rocky, a silent movie from 1923, and a trio of Scottish tenors!"
Ok, not really my cup of tea either, but why on earth bring Essex into the argument?

Labelled under bigotry eh? Pointing out that not a single event in the re-opening is in Welsh or about Wales is bigotry?? O'Neill - I enjoy your continuous digs at Plaid but I think you might have begun to lose the plot....
Glad you enjoy them;)
The lack of Welsh material, you can make an argument for but why then did he feel the need to make a completely unnecessary and pointless comparison to what might or might not go down well in a county at the far end of the UK?
This is not bigotry! And I am from Essex. Wales faces far more bigotry than this - 'parasites', sheep jokes, a burden on England, etc, etc. That is real bigotry!
