A new collaborative site, "Open Unionism", is now up and running courtesy of Bobballs. It’s aiming to give pro-Union bloggers, commentators and even representatives the opportunity to write about and debate ideas relating to the Union’s present state and more importantly, its future. The initial focus will be on Northern Irish affairs, but I know that Bb is looking eventually to incorporate contributors from other parts of the United Kingdom. The site is also "open" to submissions related to Union matters from contributors right across the UK political spectrum...so get typing!
Chekov kicks off proceedings today with a post on the topic of voluntary coalitions and a concept that seemed a lot more en vogue pre 2005, "our shared future".
