"Mr Paisley uses his allowances to provide a first class constituency service. It is rather sad that at a time when people are concerned about their jobs, homes and keeping a roof over their heads the major focus of one of Northern Ireland’s leading newspapers seems to be on decade old bills for office furniture."
Indeed, why can't the Tele just follow the lead of one of Northern Ireland's other "leading" newspapers, The Newsletter and simply reprint unquestioningly DUP press-releases?
I suppose the other question the average tax-paying mug in the street would have is whether a "Britannia chair (high)" at 950 of our British pounds or a "Mahogany 3 drawer filer" at 600 would necessarily provide a better "first class constituency service" than their cheaper equivalents elsewhere (96.89 and 45 pounds respectively in IKEA)?
