Less than 50% of the Welsh electorate want increased devolved powers.
There is "widespread confusion" amongst a large majority of the electorate about what the Welsh Assembly actually does.
Almost double the number of those who want complete separation want the whole devolved charade* scrapped.
No wonder the Welsh Political Establishment are running scared of “granting” the mere plebs their referendum.
* Technically correct, check the figures!

Well, you should be calling for a referendum right now then, shouldn't you?
Yet the Welsh Political Establishment is still running chicken from even agreeing to the principle of holding one, why do you think that is?
Same reason Gordon Brown didnt call an election last year - he didnt have to, and wanted to control the timing so as to maximise the chances of getting the desired result.
In Gordons case he has probably blown it...

Yep and Brown was a coward too in my opinion. They should really put a more trust in the democratic system and the ability of their electorate to understand and vote on the issues.
