It looks better after dark!

There's not enough dark in the universe to blot out that disgrace. They ought to sell it off as a cinema complex or something.

This just comes across as petty.

O'Neill,

You have a good, informative blog - and as a fellow Unionist I support that - but I feel such posts are petty.

It adds nothing to the cause.

Remember it was Labour who chose the site and the building. Most people would have been happy with the old Royal High School up on Calton Hill.

But oh no. Brian "I hate devolution" Wilson is alleged to have protested against it being sited there on the grounds it had become a "Nationalist Shibboleth".

Ironic since it was Labour that had proposed it as a site in the 1970's. Anyway the Palace of Westminster was overpriced, delayed and considered ugly when it was built. And one of its archetects went mad.

But it is the Big Mama of Parliaments so that is all right then!?!?!?
