Hoovers on devolution
I've just billed my employer for an i-Pod and a hoover; paraphrasing his reply, he can't quite grasped why he should pay for something that has no relevance to my present job description. However, he has "welcomed my transparency" and has admitted that "technically I haven't broken any laws with my request".

I took the advice of my son and realised I couldn't live without an i-pod, my wife said better buy a Dyson, your office deserves the best.

Idiots. The rules need to be tightened now. Westminster rules need to be tightened twice as much mind you.
