You could always ask the Conservatives for help...

And yet another devolved assembly crisis looms... so sad, too bad, never mind:
PLAID CYMRU may be just weeks away from crisis talks over the future of the Assembly’s ruling One Wales coalition, senior party sources have told the Western Mail.

One of the reasons is their concern that a referendum on "primary lawmaking powers" (i.e. further devolved powers) will not be held during the present Assembly term- again, like the proposed separation referendum in Scotland, I think attempts to postpone or even cancel this could prove counterproductive to the Unionist cause in the long-term. As an anti-devolutionist, I would see a "no" vote in such a referendum as the first step in reversing the constitutional vandalism unleased upon the UK over a decade ago. Postponement or cancellation of referendums will not harm the nationalists, them facing a well-organised, motivated campaign and a subsequent good thumping at the ballot box most certainly will.

To be fair it isn't the Unionists who are most keen on stopping it, nor is it the devolutionists. It's the Labour party who want to delay it because they're scared that the fight between their Unionist and Devolutionist wings would hurt them. The Tories also have a similar concern and have therefore asked for (yet another) review before they decide what they want!
