The Editor the Sun "reader"ship deserves

Scotland’s Public Enemy Number One has moved his eye (and vitriol) to the North of England:
I’m a southerner. I was raised in London and live in leafy Weybridge. Life doesn’t get any better than that. Sorry, I’m not claiming off the state. What can I tell you?

There are beautiful parts of the North. Thirsk, for instance. But that’s not the whole story and I feel disinclined to put my hand in my pocket for people who might not like me but like my money.

Why should a hospital in Guildford be short of funds and facing shutdown when the locals have plenty of the stuff? It’s unfair, illogical and electorally dangerous.
It won’t be long before we have the Scots off our books, taking with them their unhealthy and expensive habits.

If it were up to me I’d get those Israeli builders to make a wall from The Wash to Bristol. They’d have it up in a jiffy.

What a grubby bigot MacKenzie really is; the fact that he speaks glowingly of a party* which once advocated the Italian navy opening fire on rafts carrying illegal immigrants and which still believes in segregation on racial and ethnic grounds tells you all you need to know about his "political" "philosophy".

*Unlikely I know, but if there do happen to be any Sun readers looking in, the party in question is not actually called (as Mackenzie states) The Northern League.

I would like to see what would happen if the financial services industry went seriously tits up in London.

The MacKenzie might understand the chill winds of economic adjustments and decay.

No money coming in to support local businesses, people not in financial services going bust.

It would be interesting what the London economy would look like if it was not pump-primed by its public sector as well. Just think of all the money those public servants (on London weightings bring in).

Maybe the UK capital could be moved to York for while (as suggested by the Economist back in the 1960's). See what would happen then.

Can I also add that MacKenzie is an arrogant, bigoted, insular, loud-mouthed tosser who bottled the David Davies by-election despite his bragging?

And can I add that it seriously pisses English Nationalists/Patriots off that he is always paraded around as an example and spokesperson for our point of view when he is anything but!

Although it is a double-edged sword; get the tabloids on your side and any campaign automatically has a much better chance of succeeding.
