IN further evidence of the Republic of Ireland's changing attitude to all things British, the News Letter can reveal that the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal raised a record amount south of the border last year.
The money donated to the ex-services welfare association increased by 45 per cent in the Republic, compared to a nine per cent increase in Northern Ireland.
Makes Brit-Basher-Baz look even more of an out-of-date dinosaur...*
*By definition, a dinosaur must be "out-of-date", but you know what I mean; any man who thinks the way to a United Ireland is through painting post-boxes green needs to hop in his time-machine and join the rest of us in the 21st century.

45% of what amount? 10 quid? And of course you forgot to mention that the foreign people in the republic of ireland were probably doing the donating? That and the protestants living there!
