Arlene wades into the manure....

Good ole DUP, always defending something or someone (generally protestant)*:
DUP MLA Arlene Foster has spearheaded the launch of a new DUP Information Leaflet at the Clogher Valley Show today. The leaflet drawn up by the party is entitled “Defending Our Rural Communities” and is designed to show how the DUP is using devolution to the benefit of the rural community in Northern Ireland. Speaking at the Clogher Valley Show, the Fermanagh and South Tyrone Assembly Member wanted to say: "Blah, blah, blah, please vote for me in the upcoming council-by-election as I presently have only two jobs and I really need another one to top up the expenses and "serve" "our" people...No Surrender."

*The DUP's "defence" of rural communities is, of course, is being carried out by their high profile representatives in Stormont and Brussels; Ms Michelle Gildernew (Sinn Fein), Jim Allister (TUV) and Jim Nicholson (UUP).
