Quote of the Day

As each day passes without a decision being taken, the Executive is strengthening the growing perception that devolved government in Northern Ireland is not up to the job of running this province.

The same Ronnie Crawford who threatened (with his UUP council grouping) to no confidence Sir Reg over the Maze stadium?

I think its too early to judge the executive - a year from now will be the defining moment of devolution; whether we can see demonstrable change for the better.

Is this a shot across the bows for Sir Reg and McGimpsey? I hope so, because they have been invisible.

I hope so as well, but I doubt it...Ronnie is parochialism personified, he's more miffed that the Maze project has been given the boot. Still, it's a good quote!
