Al Fayed: 'I'll move if Scots go it alone'
Harrod's owner Mohammed Al Fayed has said he would move to Scotland permanently if the country became independent.
Mr Al Fayed said his 65,000 acre Balnagown estate in Easter Ross, was "the most beautiful place in the Highlands".
And he told BBC Radio Scotland that when the country was "free and independent I am going to move there permanently".
Can't find a SNP comment yet on this....

Expect support for Scottish independence to collapse completely which Alex Salmond will counter by amending the proposed wording to include the words
"...an independent Scotland whose first law will be to ban Al Fayed from entering"
:-D
That still leaves Sean Connery's threat to return in event of an independent Scotland.
He should be informed that in that unlikely event he'll still have to pay income tax like everyone else- that'll be enough to keep him in the bahamas
Lord Laidlaw is a true Brit unionist and he lives in Monaco - for his health obviously. Possibly there is a better grade of hooker there.

I've got more time for sex-iles, than tax-exiles...but that's probably my own warped moral values coming into play there!
