Uniting the British Isles

ONE Welsh MP today calls for the problem of slow trains between London and South Wales to be solved with a high-speed rail link fit for the 21st century.

Now that's real politics, better connections from the extremes of the Kingdom to its capital, in fact the MP in question, uses almost the same words to make the same point:

If the British Government can afford £16bn to link west and east London, I’m sure they can link west and east of the kingdom in less than one third of the cost. The next step would be to build a tunnel through the Irish Sea – an idea first mentioned about five years after completing the Severn Tunnel.

Yes, although I'm sure the various separatists in the Kingdom won't be too happy with Mr Adam Price (Plaid Cymru MP)'s geographical terminology.....

Also, the suggestion of the tunnel under the Irish Sea is a great one, bringing the two islands closer together and has been made by no, not the Unionists, but by the rabid West Brits of the Irish Chamber of Commerce.

Two constructive suggestions to make all our lives easier and the Union stronger, well done Mr Price and Chambers Ireland.
