Stewart Stevenson is the SNP minister whose brief includes setting Scotland's targets on renewable energy.
He also owns £30,000 of shares in ScottishPower - a company which:
is one of the big players in the energy market in Scotland. It is heavily involved in traditional, coal-fired electricity generation, but it also has an expanding interest in renewable energy.
He really couldn’t see what the problem was?
And how about this one for another "perceived" "conflict of interest" ?
Time for a quotation:
You know your country is dying when you have to make a distinction between what is moral and ethical, and what is legal.
