Celtic Telly Wars

A Plaid MP has threatened to withhold part of his BBC licence fee saying there is not enough BBC coverage of Wales on news programmes across the UK.

I wonder why there isn't enough "coverage of Wales", after all if there's the public demand for it....

Mr Price goes onto explain why there isn't enough "coverage of Wales":

"If you speak to them privately network editors say that Wales is a switch off - that their viewers and listeners aren't interested in Wales and therefore they're not going to put it up on the news."

Which seems a fair enough reason to me; why make programmes that no one is going to watch?
