Commenting policy

I believe in the concept of open society and free speech, but just as I wouldn’t allow strangers to come into my house to verbally abuse family or even acquaintances and having seen the problems that other blogs have had with comments, I’ve decided to have some kind of loose policy here.

So, basically, all comments are welcomed, except those which attack fellow commentators or those which employ abusive language. Political figures remain a legitimate target (verbally speaking), but even so, try and keep it clean and please try to keep to theme of the post. If you wish to alert me to an interesting article or development email me using the address on the site.

Thanks!

Hello O'Neill, I'm a Thomas Jefferson, First Amendment, Freedom of Religion, Speech, Press, and Freedom to Think fellow!

We highly approve of your "Comment Rules"...

My father was Irish/English and quite proud of it, here in the U.S.A.

I was forced to "moderate the blog"
when dirty language, threats, and
insults corrupted the intention to run an Informative Weblog.

When the "odd characters" find you,
the Open Format is finished.

I'm "controversial" by our Vast-Left-Wing Radical Standards, so I target George Soros minions!

Cheers, and my best regards, reb
