This is just a short post to congratulate John Braine on picking up the "Edelman Best Newcomer" award last night at the Irish Blog Awards-having read the blog, I'd just like to say that I think John's a very worthy winner.
It should also go without saying that, having seen the other names on the list, I was delighted and flattered (especially with me being a Nordie Unionist and all!!) to have made the short list.
